Recline in a hammock or sit on the patio and watch the breeze shuffle through the flowers as the sun wanes behind the trees at Hotel Jardines de Monteverde. Hotel Jardines is settled just off the beaten path down a dirt road between Cerro Plano and Santa Elena; close to the Monteverde Butterfly Garden and far from the traffic of the main streets. Turning left down the road it's only a ten minute walk to downtown (even closer to many of the town's restaurants). Turning right will take guests into Cerro Plano toward the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve – about a thirty minute walk.

Services & Amenities
Breakfasts is included in the room rate, but ask a head of time about the number of people staying at the hotel, if there aren't enough people they won't serve breakfast at all. Things seem to start to slow down around the hotel April – June; the reception doesn't open until 7:30 or 8 a.m. and the only person around in the evenings is the security guard.
