Make yourself comfortable in one of the two downstairs shared backpacker rooms, $12 per night, with six or eight beds; or head upstairs toward one of two private rooms, $35 per night in wet season (May-Nov.), with wood floors and furnishings, king and bunk beds, Wi-Fi and a private bathroom.

You can chow down on Argentine food all you want: the Casa del Mar restaurant serves steak and wood-fired pizzas, and the Empanada Chiringuito snack bar makes great empanadas, salads, sandwiches and smoothies. For any other meal, the hostel has a community kitchen so you can do your own thing.
