read more closeOwner Marcela Perez has been serving up local favorites since 2007, specializing in seafood, for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day; no matter which meal, start off with one of the refreshing "batidos," fresh blended fruit with milk or water, the watermelon, $2, was a favorite and several other fruit options are offered.
Breakfasts are quick and typical, the special plate, $5, includes two fried eggs, gallo pinto, toast, sliced tomatoes and coffee.
The pride and joy of Mar y Bosque is the whole fish, $8, an entire red snapper, lightly fried, garnished with lime wedges to squeeze, and served with french fries, house salad and sautéed vegetables.
Daily dessert specials feature, pineapple upside-down cake, $2, topped with dulce de leche and raspberry syrup.
Ambiance
