Now they’re slanging up frothy cappuccinos, $3, and refreshing fruit smoothies, $3, as the perfect pick-me-up for tourists who have been tirelessly exploring Drake Bay.
To start the day, ask for one of the off-the-menu breakfasts, all $6, banana pancakes with papaya and pineapple syrup and a side of scrambled eggs, or custom omelets with veggies, cheese or ham.
The rest of the menu, playfully scrawled in chalk above the entrance to the kitchen, boasts simple and tasty entrees like the garlic shrimp, $16.50, a generous serving of sautéed shrimp served with fried plantain chips, pico de gallo, house salad and sautéed vegetables.
Vegetarian options are also offered, the vegetarian pasta, $12, Asian inspired, stir-fried rice noodles with tofu, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.
Ambiance
The breeze waves in and out of the aboveground, open-air structure harmonizing with the eclectic music and the waves; it’s calm, cool and laidback.
