A mini-hike up a winding stone path, complete with a soundtrack of squawking scarlet macaws, leads the way to 13 spacious rooms with almond-wood patios and rocking chairs where guests can catch their breath, inhaling the sweet flower air and admiring the ocean view.
Walls with screen windows let in the alarm clock of howler monkeys each morning, their howls reverberate throughout the vaulted ceilings, which hold quiet ceiling fans that create an ocean-like breeze.
