Rainforest Cafe
Chill out or warm up with an enormous menu of coffee creations at the Rainforest cafe. All the coffee is specifically chosen for its flavor profile: cappuccinos, lattes and regular coffee use an Italian roast from the slopes of Costa Rica's Poas volcano, while the frozen drinks are made with an espresso roast from San Ramon.

Cold drinks range from iced to frozen and include sweet delights like the sueno de bebe (baby dreams), $5; a blended, frozen latte topped with a chocolate straw and cookie.
Lunch comes pretty standard with a variety of light options like the rainforest salad, $6, with lettuce, strawberries, peaches, yogurt, honey, cheese and almonds; plus comfort foods like sandwiches, tacos, and a typical Costa Rican hamburger, $7, made with beef, ham, bacon and cheese. Avoid the high-end dishes like the churrasco (grilled steak), $11, which seem above the abilities of the kitchen staff – I ordered mine medium rare and it came out so rare that I had to stab it to make sure it's dead.
