Rooms
Behind wooden gates, guests have their own intimate entrances to one of Hotel Punta Islita's 56 extravagant rooms, most with ocean views. The deluxe room, $348 in wet season (April-Nov.) including breakfast, has a king or two double beds, A/C, vanity and sink, private bathroom, satellite plasma TV, safety deposit box and Wi-Fi. Out on the room's front open terrace, guests can lounge in a hammock or patio chairs and watch the sunset over the shoreline.

Perched on the front of the hotel grounds, an infinity edge pool (for ages 16 and older) flows up to "Harry's Bar," where guests can enjoy refreshing cocktails and a panoramic view of the tropical dry forest hills and beach. Just below the pool deck, there's a gymnasium. Hotel Punta Islita also has a gift shop, private parking, fax and copy machines and an art gallery.
A three-minute walk east from the reception area, the Casa Spa (open daily 11 a.m. – 7 p.m., reservations required) features massages, waxing, facials, manicures, pedicures, and couple packages for ultimate pampering. Depending on the season, spa services are also available on the Islita beach.
The tiny town of Islita - comprised of just one school, soccer field, art gallery, grocery store, beach and one restaurant - is just a three-minute drive from the Hotel Punta Islita entrance. Transportation to and from all Islita town locations is free to all hotel guests.

Fast, fun, and exciting! Soar 165 feet above Islita Canyon zipping one mile across eight zig-zag cables strung between concrete-and-stone reinforced metal foundations buried six and a half feet below the ground.
Experience the scenery high up within the forest canopy among native spiny cedar, Guanacaste and teak trees camouflaging a small creek in the middle of the canyon.
Guides will pick guests up at Punta Islita hotel, take them to the first platform, help them spot wildlife and give them insights into the forests in Islita.
