Like folds of silk, the fresh water of the Talamanca Mountains sweeps over boulders draping waterfalls and settling in pools of spun blue and green inside Baldy Canyon. Beneath the shady rainforest canopy, Costa Canyoning, leads guests on an adventure through this feat of erosion, hiking through rivers and rappelling down 5 waterfalls as ribbons of frothing whitewater jettison over the cascades.

Water rushes over your feet and sprays your face rappelling down each of the 5 different waterfalls ranging with names like The Cauldron and Iguana Falls. Scott has found the balance between teaching and entertaining, helping guests to learn rappelling without making it feel like a safety lecture.
Each waterfall will test visitors' skills with increasing difficulty beginning with an easy 25-foot fall and building to the 85-foot climax. Guests can opt for the drier, relaxing descent or the extreme descent where the falls pour buckets of water down over your whole body as you rappel into the pool below.
Visitors have a chance to wind down with a swim in the river and a small-cliff jump into a natural pool.
Prepare to get wet and wear clothes to match. Old tennis shoes, water shoes and sandals with straps (don't wear flip-flops) are necessary for hiking through the canyon and rappelling down the falls. Guides provide all the necessary safety equipment and take photos (included in the price) on the way.
